Thames Festival: Day1

There was a festival along river Thames on the weekend.
There were stages on several points and many stalls gathered around them.
Various kinds of food were offered such as Spanish, Italian, Turkish, Korean, Moroccan and guinean.
We went to jubilee garden, one of the biggest stage was set, and had lunch. After that we saw east European countries booths.
In that area, a stage had a porka show.

It was cute indeed.


After that, we went to Covent Garden and look around the market.
Many performances were going on there; we enjoyed music ones for a while.
Since it was very hot day, we tried frozen yogurt there. It was quite nice.
Before dusk, we took river ferry to come back to our place.
You can see London eye, Big-Ben, London Bridge and Tower Bridge from the ferry.
It was a long day.

週末、テムズ川沿いのエリアでお祭りがありました。
広いエリアにわたって、いくつかのステージが用意され
それぞれの周りには屋台も沢山出ていました。
屋台ではスペイン、イタリア、トルコ、モロッコ、韓国、ギニアなど、さまざまな料理が売られていました。
私たちは大きなステージが設置されているジュビリーガーデンでランチをとり、
その後東欧諸国のブースを見学したのですが、そこでちょうどポルカのショーをやっていました。
可愛いダンスでした。


その後、コベント・ガーデンへ行ってお店を見て回りました。
ここではいつも色々なパフォーマンスも行われており、
私たちは歌のパフォーマンスをしばらく見ました。
ストリートパフォーマーでしたが、かなりの迫力です。
暑かったので、そこでフローズンヨーグルトを食べましたが、これが美味しかったです。
夕方には、フェリーで帰路につきました。
このフェリーからはロンドンアイ、ビッグベン、ロンドンブリッジ、タワーブリッジなどが見られます。
長い一日でした。
