Kensington Palace

Second day of UK was a chilly day.
We just walked around west side of London.
During the walk, I met squirrels in Hyde park.
They were very used to encounter with human.



Highlight of the day was visiting Kensington Palace and garden.
Kensington Garden is next to hyde park, or shoud be said is a part of it.
The palace also in there. It is not so big as a palace.
Good size to see around all chambers and paintings in one day.
Things like king's bed room, closet and so on looks almost same in any castle or palace for me,
So I would like to point one particular figure for the palace.
There we can see Prices Diana's dresses.
I was not expected to see them, it was happy surprise.



This is a photo of Garden.

It was lovely, well conditioned.
But for my regret, We could not go into it.

イギリス二日目は肌寒い日でした。
無理してもアレなのでロンドンの西側を歩き回るにとどめました。
散歩中にハイドパークでリスに遭遇しました。
彼らは人間を見慣れているようでした。


この日のハイライトはケンジントン宮殿。
ケンジントンガーデンはハイドパークの隣というか中というか、にあります。
ケンジントン宮殿はその中にあるわけですが、宮殿というわりには小ぶりです。
一日で各種の部屋や装飾を見て回るには良いサイズという感じ。
王の寝室だのクローゼットだのはどのお城でみても殆ど同じに見えるので
ここだけの特別なものを一つだけ挙げておくと
ダイアナ元妃のドレスが見られます。
知らなかったのだけど、楽しめました。


ガーデンはかわいらしい、素敵なお庭でした。
残念ながら中には入れませんでしたが。
